In this degree, students are able to combine the flexibility of studying a wide range of subjects within Arts, as well as focus on a foreign language, with the aim of completing a compulsory one or two semester exchange in the country of your chosen language.

This is a degree for students who are interested in combining their talent and passion for languages, with a comprehensive education through Arts subjects. In this degree, students are able to combine the flexibility of studying a wide range of subjects within Arts, as well as focus on a foreign language. There are 11 language majors which students can choose from. These are: Arabic Language and Literature; Chinese Studies; French Studies; Germanic Studies; Hebrew (Modern); Indonesian Studies; Italian Studies; Japanese Studies; Korean Studies; Modern Greek Studies and; Spanish and Latin American Studies. Students must major in one language from within these choices, and can choose either to major in another language, or in an Arts subject.

Students can challenge themselves to learn a new language, or develop their skills in one they have previously learnt, with classes available for a Beginners level as well as Advanced. Students in this degree also have the unique opportunity of completing a compulsory one or two semester exchange in the country of your chosen language. This is a compulsory part of the degree, but is perhaps its best selling point, as students will live, learn, speak and study in an incredible international environment.
